up to 5 stars on this one
Relistened to this show all weekend. It deserves 5. Check out the way John attacks the solo on "Loser." Absolutely beautiful. And the finale on "Music." Incredible. Download this show.

Great performance...
Before d/l, be aware that there's a small file problem herein:
d2t08 is actually Sugar Magnolia, which should really be d3t08 and the actual d2t08 (Let It Grow part 1) is missing. Webmaster Ed has already u/l the corrected files and md5's, but it may take a while for etree to plumb 'em in...see his info below in the meantime.
I've been thinking that this setlist would make for a great DSO show - glad they finally performed it, and glad they posted it here. This is one of my favorite Dead 2nd sets of all time - from Lazy Lightining on, it just flows so nicely.
DSO was in the groove on this night - great performance (as was the original)! I don't have much experience with DSO but, based on this one, I can see why folks love 'em. They capture the Dead's ambience and musical magic really well. I'd recommend this one.
And yes fellas, in reply to the comment at the end of the performance, the Orpheum is still there...
